We took the Cusco city tour, including the Qoricancha museum and the archeological sites of Sacsaywaman, Tambomachay and Q’enqo.
Adriel was a brilliant guide, knowledgeable about the complex history or Pre-Inca, Inca and colonial Peru, ready to offer fun trivia as well as give out tips for visiting the city, Machu Picchu, or other attractions, and take great photos of us. He also knew when to leave us time to relax and explore.
Adriel was vividly eager to share about his heritage and the Quechuan language as well as his love for his job as a tour guide.
The closing of the tour at an alpaca, llama and vicunha rescue farm was the cherry on top.
