We went with Adriel from Inka expeditions on the SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS Tour in Cusco, and it was probably the best guide I have ever had. Adriel knows the ins and outs of Cusco like no other, he even speaks Quechua, and can customize your trip to your preferences. We told him we wanted a local experience and quality goods, so he drove us in neighboring towns to meet a local family and we tried their local Chicha de Jora drink. He also took us to Alpaca farms and to a local production site to buy goods directly from the producers. He knows every detail of the history of the region, is very proud of his region, and could speak for hours about every question you have.
He is also extremely kind, caring, even when we decided to opt for a separate option to visit Rainbow Mountains (he put us in contact with people there), and has remained in contact with us long after our trip.
