We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 in the morning, this morning we will drive the bus for about one hour to visit first Moray. This place is located 38 km from the city of Cusco. Moray is considered an agricultural Inca laboratory which is made up of 4 muyus or circles which are round inca terraces. The depth is 80 meters from the top to the lowest terraces, the smallest terraces has 36 meters of diameter. Temperature variations range between 0.5 to 1.5 degrees Celsius per terraces which can reproduce up to 20 types of microclimates. Then we will visit the salt mines of Maras; as the name indicates, they are salt mines formed by around 3500 small pools , each one producing approximately 50 to 80 kilos of salt per month. These are watered by an underground salt water spring; this process is completely natural. Maras Salt is in high demand around the world. After this place we will return to Cusco at approximately 2p.m.
