My husband and I can’t say enough positive things about Inka Expeditions and our guide Adreil Vilcus! Everything about this trip was top notch from the planning to the execution.
Adriel is extremely knowledgeable about Peruvian history, the history of the region and the ancient Incas. He is a native to to area and we visited his home town of Ollantaytambo where he guide us on our visit of the archeological park. He also guided us on a city tour of Cusco and recommended high quality restaurants. He is patient, personable and encouraging. We stayed six nights at Luxury 5* Palacio Del Inka where we took numerous excursions to ancient ruins in The Sacred Valley, a Cusco City tour, a breathtaking hike to Humantay Lake & The Vista Train to Machu Picchu. Adreil accompanied us everywhere except Machu Pichu. His guidance and patience on our hike to Humantay Lake was especially appreciated. Adriel is a VERY experienced hiker and guide. He was patient with our slow pace at times. due to the high elevation. At one point he commandeered some horses to take us part of the way and negotiated with the wrangler. This trip was worth every penny and more. The memories and photos that we have will last a lifetime. P.S. Adreil is also a very good photographer and we have him to thank for the many photos we have of ourselves from this trip!
The trip was breathtakingly awesome in every way possible,..history, scenery, food, culture & hospitality. Adrtiel was always was always on time and always went the extra mile for our comfort and safety. This was a private tour and we had a Adriel’s personable and knowledgeable guidance for every excursion. I highly recommend Adriel for any tour services!!!
