We rate this 2 days inka trail to Machupicchu trek as moderate.
All along the way up to wiñayhuayna we will be walking through inca steps and it can be a bit dificult for the knees. In this tour the altitude is not the problem because we will start over 2100m and the highest point will the sungate (2750 m)

The best time of year to plan this trek is the dry season from April to october when there is little rain, this time is considered as winter, during the day is really sunny and hot at night time.
November to March is the wet season in Peru but the weather is really unpredictable and we still have full tourist trekking at this time of the year.

The average walking time is 6 hours the first day and the second day is just by bus to Machupicchu and walking tour for 3 hours.
