Itinerary

Detailed Itinerary

Cusco – Ccorca – Cusco

We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 am and travel by private transportation for approximately one hour to the trailhead in Ccorca. This area preserves an ancient section of the Royal Inca Trail, part of the vast road network that once connected the highlands of the Andes with the Pacific coast during the Inca Empire.

Once we arrive, we begin our hike through a scenic and peaceful Andean environment. The trail is surrounded by agricultural fields, native vegetation, impressive rock formations, and panoramic mountain views. This route is especially attractive because it remains one of the best-preserved stone trails in the Cusco region, reflecting the extraordinary engineering ability of the Incas.

As we continue walking, we reach the area of the Farallones of Ccorca, where dramatic cliffs create a spectacular natural setting. Nearby, you will also visit the beautiful Tecsecocha Waterfall, one of the hidden natural attractions of this region. The sound of the water and the tranquility of the landscape make this one of the highlights of the tour.

Throughout the hike, your guide will share information about the historical importance of the Inca Trail, the geography of the area, and the traditions of the local Andean communities. This makes the experience more than just a walk; it becomes an opportunity to connect with the history and living culture of Cusco.

The hike is considered easy to moderate, making it suitable for most travelers who have already spent some time acclimatizing to Cusco’s altitude. After completing the route, we return by private vehicle to Cusco, arriving in time for lunch.
